Why is our domain called Quarlton?

Whilst researching our family trees we came across a small village in Lancashire called Quarlton and the name intrigued us.
When the time came to register a domain name we needed something that would be unique so we chose Quarlton.
For those interested, we choose to pronounce it 'kworlton', which may or may not be correct.
